She has directed and produced musicals, taught middle and high school music in both public and private schools, and has also music directed community theater productions.

  • Her influence reaches beyond the classroom and sanctuary. Kristen is a frequent leader at retreats, conferences, and camps, including long-standing involvement with Lambec Music Camp, a beloved summer music camp at Camp Lambec in Pennsylvania. She recently played a key role in launching Camp Lambec’s premiere worship retreat, further expanding her impact in faith-based music education.

  • In addition to her work in church and school settings, Kristen maintains a thriving private piano studio, mentoring a dedicated group of young musicians.

  • Kristen holds a Master of Music Education from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Music Education from Mount Union College. She is married to Andy, whom she met and married at First Pres Maumee, and enjoys using music and musical opportunities to connect people in meaningful ways.

Beloved by congregations, colleagues, and students alike, Kristen is known for her ability to bridge the gap between the platform and the pew, drawing people into shared experiences of music that inspire, teach, and connect.
